Submission policy:
iris magazine is created and edited by Dr Lorna Robinson. She is helped with the editing and selection process by Alex Williams . Submissions of all kinds are welcomed and considered, regardless of the age or qualification of the author. However, school students who would like to submit work are requested to either do so through their school, or to supply the contact details of their school, which will be consulted regarding any potential publication of their material.
The editors are interested in exciting original and creative material that explores Classical topics from new perspectives. Artwork, creative writing, essays, comic strips, cartoons and reviews are all very welcome. If you would like to discuss any material you are thinking of submitting, then feel free to contact us through the web site.
Material must be the author's original work. Submissions such as essays, stories or travelogue extracts should ideally be no more than 2,500 words. All submissions used in iris publications will of course be credited to the author(s).
